The Landhaushof
The Landhaushof is a well-run, typical Austrian restaurant in the centre
of Klagenfurt. It is housed in a historic building, the Landhaus, which
is the seat of provincial parliament. Here you can dine in a relaxed atmosphere
under the beautiful vaults, outdoors in the stylish, car-free inner courtyard,
or in the function rooms for larger parties. On the menu are many traditional
Austrian dishes (Wiener schnitzel, roast pork, game, fresh water fish
and Imperial pancakes) and the speciality of the house - the “Landhaus
Classic”, three cuts of boiled beef served with various accompaniments.
At lunchtime there are also low-priced set meals (soup and main course
for 5.80 euros and on Sunday 10,50 Euro) and in the evening special set
dinners (from 18,50 Euro). The menu of the day changes daily reflecting
seasonal availability. There are two kinds of draught beer and a wide
selection of Austrian wines. Click here to see pictures of the Landhaushof
